1947 Ariel Red Hunter |

The first Red Hunter appeared in 1932, coded VH32. It featured a tuned four-overhead-valve 498cc vertical cylinder VG. The red tank panels on a chrome gas tank with red wheel rim centers made it a sporting & beautiful sports bike. The last Red Hunter was produced in 1959 after 27 years of success.
After World War II, the Red Hunter became Ariel's best-selling bike. It won more competitive events in trials as well as scrambles and road racing. |

This 1966 BSA A65 Lightning was part of a five-year run for the Lightning. These early bikes had an eight-inch front brake which did not work as well as the later twin leading shoe full width brake.
In 1966 BSA went to a separate chrome-plated headlamp shell and the fenders were less valanced than before. Also, the speedometer drive was moved to the rear wheel in 1966. This particular bike does not have the proper tail light |

1966 Harley Davidson Topper |

The Topper is the only motor scooter that the Harley Davidson Motor Company ever produced. It was produced only between 1960 and 1965. The exact total of production numbers has been lost to history, but is estimated to be somewhere between a low of 3,500 to a high of 8,000 for all of the model years combined.
The Topper utilized a CVT transmission as used on most modern scooters produced today. |
