1952 Harley WL45
This WL45 Harley Davidson Flathead is titled as a 1952 but is really an early bike which was put together shortly after World War II from military parts.   The engine block has a VA prefix signifying that is was stamped and titled for the first time in the Commonwealth of Virginia. One of the important facts about this bike is that almost all of the parts on it are real period Harley Davidson down to the Harley Davidson glass stamped taillight.   The bike incorporates the famous tank shift with a foot clutch which today is very unique for a motorcycle.   This bike will draw a crowd wherever it goes!

1965 BSA A65 Lightning
This 1965 A65 Lightning Rocket was part of a two-year run for the Lightning/Rocket.   This bike sported more power with a new cylinder head and twin carburetors.   The motorcycle carried the beautiful small tank with the round BSA logo.

These pre-1966 Lightning/Rockets can be distinguished from later BSA twins because in 1966 BSA went to a separate chrome-plated headlamp shell and the fenders were less valanced than before.   Also, the speedometer drive was moved to the rear wheel in 1966.

1966 Honda Dream
The 305 Honda Dream "late model" was sold from 1963 to 1969 in one of four colors: white, black, blue, or scarlet red.  This desirable motorcycle is finished in its original classic white paint.

It is rare to find such an early vintage motorcycle in such undisturbed condition.  It is almost as if you are looking at a 40 year old time capsule.

1968 BSA Lightning
In 1969 the BSA unit twins were reduced to a product line of just four bikes, one of which was the A65 Lightning.   By some, 1968 and 1969 were considered two of the best years for the 650 because the bike now had an 8-inch full width front hub with twin leading shoes.   It also had a better alternator for the charging system.

The reason this Steelhorse Classics motorcycle is very special is because it is truly an untouched original down to the paint on the tank and side covers and, as far as we can tell, every nut and bolt.

1975 Suzuki GT185
This Suzuki GT185 could be the finest example in North America.   It virtually looks as if it could be sitting on the showroom floor 32 years ago.   The motorcycle was originally sold by Gatto Cycle shop in Tarentum, Pennsylvania.   It is a 2 stroke motorcycle where oil must be mixed with gasoline to lubricate the engine.

The bike has the unique Ram air system introduced in the early 1970’s by Suzuki to cool the engine.   It is complete with its original owner’s manual and tool kit.

1977 BMW r100/7
This very desirable motorcycle was the largest displacement BMW of the time at 980 cc’s.  It was a two-owner bike that went from the first owner (who worked at Mars Motorcycles in Newport News, Virginia) to one of his good friends from whom Steelhorse Classics purchased the motorcycle.

The paint has been refinished in a deep blood red and is in beautiful condition.   Only 12,056 of these units were sold during their three-year run from 1976 to 1978.

1977 Honda gl1000 Goldwing
The Honda GL1000 Goldwing was introduced in 1975 and was aimed at being the ultimate touring machine.  Although the bike had no fairing or saddlebags, it had 80 horsepower and weighed 584 pounds.

The Goldwing has a very large following and its collectible rating of 3 stars should undoubtedly improve.  The first generation of the Goldwing was built for only three years (ending in 1977).   This fine example of a surviving first series Goldwing has no major modifications and still sports its original paint, stock seat, and exhaust.

1978 Honda CB750
The CB750 Honda was one of the most significant motorcycles ever produced.   It featured technological innovation that had previously been available only to racing machines.  The CB750, with its transversely mounted four cylinder engine, directed the way toward the future of high performance motorcycles.

This bike is a second generation 750 that is equipped with a NOS (new old stock) gas tank and seat which are becoming very difficult to find.   It also sports original mufflers which were quite often replaced with aftermarket headers.

1984 Yamaha RZ350
This 1984 RZ350 Yamaha signifies the end of the 2-stroke era.  It is a liquid cooled engine that uses Yamaha's power valve system (YPVS) which is an ingenious system which uses a microprocessor to vary the exhaust port opening according to engine RPM.

These bikes often referred to as "Kenny Roberts's specials" were really street legal race bikes that produced high horsepower for a 350 and had a top speed of over 120 miles an hour.  They have a very strong following today in the US and overseas.  This is a highly sought after original mileage bike that will be fantastic addition to anyone's collection
